NICHE TOURISM IN SOUTHAFRICA



South Africa now attracts a great number of tourists from around the world. The many safari parks, varied lanscape, beautiful beaches, warm weather and opportunities for adventure, nature and ecotourism holidays are the main attractions.





NICHE TOURISM - MASS TOURISM
Niche tourism has become more and more popular as a reaction to Mass tourism. 
There is a need to experience something different, something special, something tailored to the specific needs and interests of individuals and groups of individuals. Niche tourism represents diversity and ways of marking differences.

TASK 1 UNIT 5: 

Task 1: Choose a province in your country and write a full geographical description of it (map and pictures). Write about the tourist attractions and activities related to adventure, nature and culture in the chosen province.

EXTRA TASK: Write a presentation about Picasso's life, Picasso's periods and his style and techique.

FINAL TASK: PLAN A COACH TOUR of FRANCE

















1) Plan a suitable eight-day itinerary for a coach tour of France for a group of US senior citizens.
2) Decide which tourist attractions you are going to incluide in your tour in relation with the particular needs and interests of the group. 
3) Calculate the cost of the tours and visits you choose.
4) Design, write and cost a suitable itinerary in detail.
